The Last 8 years The House of Selvática has proposed an ongoing programming, produced mostly in a freelance way, valuing the interchange and exchange amongst artists and audience. Space is organized through a shared management the occurs with Selvática and fifteen other artists in residence that take turns in different functions and artistic researches. Maintaining the structure of a house and not changing it into a typical theater one or a rehearsal studio format, the House of Selvática supports itself financially almost exclusively from the cultural programming developed in the house: workshops, theater performances, art showdowns, exhibitions, parties and residencies. The House does not work as a headquarter for a group of artists whose aesthetics are common, but as an environment where differences interchange. The House of Selvática is mainly a stronghold for our utopia.
